SLA Annual Conference underway

Surrounded by monuments to American historians and American history – the Jefferson Memorial, the National Archives, and of course the Library of Congress – the membership of the Special Libraries Association (SLA) gather in Washington, D.C., this week to celebrate SLA’s 100th anniversary and to engage in this year’s quest of Information to Inspiration: Knowledge and Vision Shaping the Future.

SLA’s pioneer librarians helped shape information, and today’s librarians continue to do this in amazing fields of information, from chemical to corporate, medical to legal.

And Thomson Reuters has been beside them for a good part of this information quest. In this video clip from the conference, Anne Ellis, senior director of Librarian Relations, speaks to this long partnership with SLA and highlights a few of the special events taking place this week:
