As the world’s economy remains uncertain, China’s role as a significant presence in global business has become clearer.

Song Yifeng, sales and marketing director for Westlaw China, recently spent two weeks in Washington, D.C., San Francisco, Los Angeles, Philadelphia and New York visiting law firm customers with a presence in China who are now building key global relationships in support of their law practices there.

Yifeng spent some time with those firms educating them on China’s legal system and its unique structure.

Yifeng told us his customer visits allowed him to demonstrate Westlaw China’s key features, like its English translated laws and case headnotes, business and legal news feeds as well as the topical hierarchy or West Key Number functionality for simple searching.
